I'm Part Of The Sooty History!!!

Sooty is a famous, magical, naughty, cutest, sweetest, lovable television teddy bear, despite being non-speakable and only-whisperable. His best friends are Sweep, a squeaky dimwitted gray dog who is also a complete sausage brain, and Soo, a panda who is not only the only one who can talk, but also Sooty’s girlfriend.

Sooty is my television friend since 2017 when we first met on Facebook, thanks to my Auntie Angela. I remember seeing Sooty for the very first time on T. V. at the original Grange School on a V. H. S. release called 'Sooty's Sporting Stories'. And ever-since that, I began enjoying watching every Sooty programmes and always laugh at the terrific, very, very funny, comedy routines. Hysterical too. I even learnt that in 1948, Sooty was both found, on the North Pier In Blackpool, and created by Harry Corbett who started the entire Sooty franchise.

Harry Corbett was also Sooty's presenter from 1952, when the franchise began, to 1976 when his son; Matthew Corbett took over. Matthew was Sooty’s presenter in two Sooty programs until 1998 when their friend; Richard Cadell became the current presenter.

Here is a timeline drawing I made of Sooty doing his fantabulous pranks on his presenters!

I made my very first (and second) meet and greet with Sooty and Richard in person back in 2017. Richard even gave me Sooty's autograph. And after that, he invited me to Sooty's 70th birthday party at the North Pier In Blackpool in 2018!! And guess what….? I did a cameo in the Sooty history!!! All thanks to the B. B. C. filming crew! Now if you don't believe me, then watch this video!

Or this one. And then you’ll spot me wearing a black Sooty cap and a white Sooty t-shirt. Like this picture down here. ↓

Nowayears, I often promise Sooty that I would see him at every theatre (The 70th birthday one was my favourite).

Izzy Whizzy, Let's Get Bizzy and, in the immortal words of Harry Corbett himself, I would like to say.…

Bye-bye, everybody.

Bye-bye.
