Disney+ is an online streaming service, just like Netflix. Everything Disney is on there, including Fox, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic. I have been watching old and new Mickey Mouse cartoons, one of the Simpsons episodes, Ice Age and many others. I've described it as ‘the Disney of the future!’
Last week, James (from Venture Arts) and me-self took it in turns to draw the characters from Disney+. I drew them from my memory and sometimes from pictures. But everytime I copy something, I draw them in MY style: ‘Justin P. Lees Style’!
I drew Homer Simpson first.
I drew him first because he’s a Disney character now. I drew him in one of his famous characteristic poses. “Woo-hoo!”
Mickey Mouse is the KING of Disney! Since 1928 when Walt Disney first drew him after Oswald The Lucky Rabbit. I chose Mickey because he is ALWAYS the king of Disney. Oswald was forgotten at first when Mickey replaced him, but that was until the video game; ‘Epic Mickey’ in 2010. And because Walt Disney created Oswald and Mickey, it makes him; their father, and those two; brothers! Can you believe it?!
