An Ordinary But Artistic Young Man Vs. The Lockdown
1
Everybody coped very bravely during lockdown. Coping means to deal effectively with something difficult.
But when you miss something you love, you get full of Nightmares, Unfairness, Misery and Bummer. Otherwise known as N. U. M. B..
Sometimes you get tantrumble. This means temperalled, but much higher than that. It makes you behave like a one year old. Very upset because you haven’t got your own way and you aren’t in control of yourself.

These are the things an ordinary but artistic young man missed during the corona-virus lockdown (but lockdown is easing, so he’s getting happier and happier).
His regular classes had stopped, but the young man has been doing Zoom calls with his tutors. A Zoom call is like a video chat, but they can share screens and still do their projects and lessons.
This young man gave everybody their amazement with his own new website! Even writing a blog about his interests.

In the middle of lockdown, he even moved house to Wythenshawe from Levenshulme (and Chorlton too). It was quite easy because his parents helped him a lot.
The new flat is much better for him because he has his own space, kitchen, bathroom and living room.
Having his own space is very important to him, especially when he spent a lot of time here because of lockdown.
4
He is very independent, and an independent traveller, too. Not travelling around on public transport made him full of frustration.
During lockdown, he had not been on any buses, he went in cars instead only, until now.
He recently took the bus from Wythenshawe to Piccadilly. He even took the Manchester Airport tram. It feels terrific for him to be an independent traveller again.
5
He missed trips out to heritage railways where steam trains currently live. They were shut due to the corona-virus lockdown.
It wasn’t safe to have many people in the same place, but it will be again soon because the lockdown is easing.
He missed the Intu Trafford Centre. It has everything - food court, cinema, arcade, even reality games! He had none of these things at home. The only games he played were apps on his phone.
6
He really missed eat-ins like Wetherspoons. He loved ordering food at places he liked and he likes very specific food like cheese burgers.
Eating at home all the time isn’t the same for him. Back at Levenshulme, his Dad ordered and brought in a few take aways for him - that was an ‘at least’ for him.
He missed cinema trips, but he recently went to the cinema during the lockdown easing with his Dad. This was the first time in a long time. He loves the movies, and he was very unhappy not going because of the lockdown. Now it feels great to be back!

Most of all, he missed hanging out with his girlfriend. He loves her so much like she does to him. They used to hang out quite often, going on dates and all that. The only way for him to interact with her is talking on the phone to her.…
Until now! He soon has his first hang-out since before the lockdown…. And it’s taking her nuisance dog out for a walk.
And do you want to know who that ordinary but artistic young man is? That’s right! It’s a me; Justin!
